The summer tournament was a great success on a lovely evening. The winners were Daphne Grey and Davy Simpson, with runners-up Jane Boyce and Gary Buchanan. All received appropriately seasonal outdoor dining gifts. Thanks to our hard-working captains, Catherine Russell and Ivan Ewart for providing the food and prices. The next big event on the competitive calendar is the annual match against Elm Park in Dublin on 6th August. All the best to all those competing.
Congratulations also to Matthew Grey and Derek Harrison who were crowned Ulster doubles champions in the B section at the Febre sponsored Ulster tournament at the Boat Club. In the singles’ event Matthew reached the final and came runner-up, while Derek reached the quarter-final.
